Bill Herbst ~ I don’t know Bill personally, but he has been professional for 34 years and has fallen on hard times. On November 26, 2021 he suffered a stroke and as he says himself “without health insurance, serious illness … in America means financial ruin.” Life is tough for him to say the least. He needs your help. Help him now…
Bob Marks ~ An astrologer working in New York City, Bob’s website will tell you more about him, the books he has written and his broadcasting interests, but I’m recommending it especially for the free astrology lessons section he provides, forming a great reference with a distinct individualistic slant for beginners and professionals alike.
Charmed ~ Big thanks to Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles magazine and especially to the wonderful Marcia Sherrill, for this great piece about a design consultation that she had with me, believe it or not on July 4. In truth, we talked over so much more than just her decor. If all my clients were like Marcia, what can I say, I’d be laughing…
Fraser Valley Astrological Guild ~ Founded in 1991, the Guild is a non-profit association from British Columbia, Canada. Maintained by Anne Massey, their website has an ambitious design and many interesting features. It’s a wonderful, warm and affectionate glimpse into a thriving astrological community.
Free Will Astrology ~ Profiling the average astrologer is never easy. Given the range of creative expression that is possible within this profession, perhaps Rob Brezsney is simply typical of the breed. Rob has harnessed Internet astrology in support of his alternative beliefs and lifestyle. His site has a great logo, that’s what I think anyway!
James Randi and Astrology in Business ~ Another clip from the 1991 TV series in which debunker James Randi this time makes mincemeat of a so-called financial astrologer, better known nowadays for other career choices. In this instance his cause is not assisted by putting down monumental losses to the consequence of actually not using astrology after all…
Jessica Murray ~ Jessica has practiced astrology in San Francisco for thirty years. She wrote about her new book, leading the latest round of astrological navel-gazing from the world’s last superpower. Personally, I’m glad to hear something from astrologers on the West Coast. I may be wrong, but aren’t you guys suffering enough yet?
Jonathan Cainer ~ Love him or loathe him, Jonathan Cainer is commercially the most successful Sun sign astrologer in the UK today. Following several well publicised changes, at the time of writing he is currently to be found with the Daily Mail. Nonetheless if there’s no newspaper handy, Jonathan’s full range of forecasts is now online. Unfortunately, sadly RIP during 2016…
Linda-Goodman.com ~ It is fashionable to describe the work of Linda Goodman as overly simplistic and commercial. Still, her book Sun Signs was one of the first astrology books I ever read and the Love Signs that followed was enormously influential too. This site is dedicated to her memory, while describing it as busy is a huge understatement…
Madalyn Aslan ~ This is the website of US astrologer Madalyn Aslan, whose forecasts have featured on both sides of the Atlantic. She’s also uniquely mentioned in the 2004 edition of Who’s Who in the USA as a palmist. Here you can learn more about Madalyn’s busy schedule before enjoying her latest predictions…
Marjorie Orr ~ Famous media astrologer, whose site has a friendly feel and who personally maintains a passion for her art. As well as free horoscopes to grab your attention, there are celebrity chart analyses for those taking things further and some great work on tracing eclipse cycles for the advanced astrologer. Something for everyone!
